Data cleansing is a multi-dimensional project. Its primitive form involves re-formatting of data to a certain standard, typically NZ Post’s standard. Formatting data is extremely important, but we believe that formatting alone does not solve the problem of data accuracy. In some respect, formatting contributes to the problem by misleading the vendor.

We have developed our own methodology when it comes to data cleaning and enrichment. It blends automatic matching with a human eye to improve the % we can match. This does mean it’s a more manual process and it takes a bit longer for us to process your data, however, the results gained from a higher quality match are significant.

To help you achieve your desired outcome, we employ the following process based on proven methodology:

Matching of your list of contacts to 200,000+ business records in the whoiswhere™ B2B database.

Based on past projects, our typical results will look like the following:

  • 50-75% match depending on how much information you will be able to provide
  • 5-20% may be recommended for deletion being duplicates, closed or merged business entities
  • 10-30% may be not found

Once we have matched your data to ours, removed duplicates, removed closed businesses and identified what the % of change is, we come back with an additional quote to enrich data (add more information you don’t have) in case you want to go beyond just cleaning.

At this stage we’ll also identify which businesses you don’t have that match your criteria and suggest investing in these records as well.

Once you approve the quote, we append all available data from whoiswhere™ to your records so you have the most accurate information available. If required we’ll also add in fresh records which will be new to your database.

We deliver in an Excel file so it’s easy for you to upload to whichever system you are using.
